AMOU Telling Our Story Update

'Telling Our Story' Campaign Update 10 June 2016

Following the successful launch of the 'Telling Our Story' Campaign in Launceston last Wednesday we have been planning our next event for Friday 17 June 2016 in Sydney. (For more information on the Telling Our Story Campaign click here). Please click here to view related documents.

We are asking as many members as possible to get to Sydney next Friday to join in on what we know is going to be a momentous day in our Unions history.

More details on special guests and proceedings for the day including a commemorative group photo (hint next to the opera house!) of members in uniform will be available early next week.  I can let on that both the Prime Minister and Opposition Leader have been invited.

We have something special planned for Saturday 25 June 2016 (International Day of the Seafarer).  More advice on this in the coming weeks.

In the meantime continue to get out in your communities and tell your story.

Tell people about your training and the skills you have acquired and how long it has taken to get your qualifications.

Tell people the jobs you do and where you do them and how you contribute to the countries prosperity.

Tell people how important your jobs are to the future security of Australia.

Get the pledges signed and back to the Union office.

Tell Our Story and see you on the 17th
